How much fun have you had today?

What have you decided to have fun is?
By whose definitions of fun are you living? Your parents'? Your friends'? Your culture's? You might want to take five minutes to ponder. Look at the things you think are fun for you in your life and see if it's yours. You might be surprised! When I look back at my teenage years, I see how much I chose stuff because my friends were choosing them, maybe I would even hide some of the stuff I enjoyed because my friends would probably laugh at me...
What do YOU truly enjoy?
So, there. Ready? What came up for you? Was it all yours? In truth, what do YOU truly enjoy? And maybe I should add, you and your body? Would you have come to this planet with this body for no good reason? Time to make a list of what you and your body enjoy! Ask it what it enjoys! You might get clues on what is actually true for you that you never suspected.
So, is it feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin? Or the sensation of water gliding on your body when you swim? Is it dancing, hiking, or having sex? Eating out with friends? Sitting relaxed by the fire with a nice glass of wine? Or maybe it's the sensation of speed riding a motorbike on meandering mountain roads, or any adrenalin rush? It could also be gardening, or travelling, painting, singing, etc. What is it for you?
Do you enjoy work?
Someone said: "The minute you say you work, you stop having fun." Basically, the idea in this reality is that an adult should be serious and that work is serious. At least, that's we are lead to believe. And maybe you have believed it so well that work must be hard and/or boring, otherwise, it's not work.
What if you could enjoy working? If you don't, you could ask every day: "How much fun can I have today?" "What can I add to my life today that would make it more fun?" If you're embracing this, you could transform even the most boring aspects of your day into something very enjoyable. What would it take?
Do you believe your life is not fun?
Well, the thing is, if your life is not fun, it's because you created it so. Oops... That's right, everything your life is right now is your own creation. Don't you fret! If it's your own creation, it's also up to you to change it. You are the only one who can make you happy and joyful. Will you choose it?
And if you are you are definitely not having fun, try this amazing question from Mr. Gary Douglas (found of Access Consciousness): "What's funny about this, I am not laughing about?"
